today on yahoo.com there was a list of the top 10 albums to start the new year and at the bottom of the list it said hannah montana 2:meet miley cyrus wouldve been on but the Juno movie soundtrack kicked it off

ok this is stupid!!!! she shouldnt need to do this.... how lond does it take to rip off a wig... and u know maybe sum1 else could cum on in between or jb can talk to everyone get the crowd pumped or sumthin i get the fact she didnt want to stop da concert but seriously do sumthing!!!!!!!! there was on concert where she left and there was a tape playing the song wqwith her voice and everything and no body double came out!!!!!!! no offense il her but seriously she is being a fake and if u watch videos on u tube u can sumtimes tell she lip sings at concerts...mayb not this one but u can tell on other performances!!!

I was starting to think the stand in sang the whole song! psh I don't care if she finishes 30 seconds of it! Come on, we already got past the best part of the song so it doesn't matter that much. I do think she should've waited and just put the JoBros on for a few minutes while she switched. And I see why people would be mad. But hey, whats 1 flaw in the show going to hurt? Ugh I can't watch these videos it makes me want to see the show! and i can't haha. Go on tour again, Miss Miles!

i dont think that's bad. it's part of the act. you watch magic shows, you know its fake but still you clap your hands. this is just part of the show to wow the audience, the only thing bad here like any other magic someone notice the trick. :)

besides, its only a few minutes and she did perform live. be angry if you pay a lot then the star sends a double to perform throughout the concert. :)

i totally agree, i thought that was the best concert ever. truly amazing. i knew she was gonna switch though but it was still fanastilistic. obviously they did a good job if no one noticed until they watched the video. i love hannah/ miley and the jonas brothers <3

I went to one of her concerts in December and barely noticed. The Jonas Brothers only sing 2 songs while she is changing from Hannah to Miley, so it's understandable that she needed a little more time. She leaves after her last solo in the song, so why does it matter if there is a fake Hannah for the last minute, or so?

As some one that loves the entertainment field and is a huge Miley fan, I totally understand what she is going through and teh need for the body double. I was at her concert in Hartford, CT and never even realized she did a switch.
And now I know she does, does that make me less of a fan, NOT AT ALL. for this person to say she feels ripped off is a joke. Its 1 to 2 minutes of a 2 hour show. And to let people know, Miley is not the first performer to use a double. Many acts have stand ins should they need to use one for similar costume changes.
This is just another move by the very media that has built Miley up in the efforts to bring her down. Its sad to see them do this time and again with many in the entertainment business.
To Miley, know your true fans will stand by you no matter what the media says or tries to exploit and manipulate. We love you for you. For your success as an actress and a music artist.
Rock on Miley and stay true. We all love you.

If she's touring with the jonas brothers she can finish the song then the jonas brothers do a song by them selfs and she can change. If a fake hannah comes out obviosly she was lip singing the whole song

I don't think the main problem is the fact that a double comes out to cover for her but I would be concerned that she isn't performing live and it's lip-syncd....I mean...think about it...someone else comes onto the stage to act like she's Mylie...does that mean their faking the vocals to? If I'm paying to see the performer...I want to hear them too...also...several other performers throughout time that's needed to do costume changes during times of the show have had a musical interlude where the dancers perform while the artist is changing...why don't they do that?

If the only thing that she is getting in trouble for is using a body double then we all need to be praising her. As you all know- it is hard for a young girl to stay as a good role model. My daughter looks up to her, and I am thankful that she is who she is. Everyone uses doubles- from concerts to movies to tv shows. This is not new... that is just the way of the business. Next week someone else in the spot light will do something stupid and this will all be old news- so give her a break. She is doing a wonderful job as a young star.

Who cares if she ducked out for a few mins to change. Would you have rather have it be nothing going on in that few mins or for the concert to keep going. I mean seriously. She did a great job so thats really all that should matter!! Give the girl a break and get over it.

I can understand why these kids are so upset by the body double but I don't think there needs to be backlash towards Miley Cyrus. She is just a kid, 15 years old. I am 99.9% sure that Miley did not make the decision to have a body double. That decision was more than likely made by the concert producers, adults. Come on kids, give Miley a break, she is a kid just like you and she is doing these shows for you guys. So, sit back and enjoy this for what it is, a wonderful show:)

i think that it is ok for her to do that every once and awhile .
i am shure other famous people do it too but you just dont see it .
it is not that big of a deal
that it just an expeerence you have when you go too a concert .people dont need to make a big deal about it

But what about all the other performers who manage to change costumes without faking out the audience? Madonna, Cher, etc. It's not like Miley's the first to ever need a costume change, but apparently she's the first to do it this way. There really is something phony and dishonest about it. But it isn't her fault, it's the fault of whoever is designing the show.

pffttt...miley wasn't on stage for what, 30 seconds??? c'mon, give the girl a break, she's ONE person performing two different 'sets' so the speak. according to a few articles, miley is still the one singing through the microphone when she goes backstage while her body double takes her place so technically she's *still* performing. i tip my hat off to her-she's got thousands of little kids who idolize her and is probably having the time of her life...the press just needs to lay off and give the kid a break-miley'll be the one to show them that not all stars fall and i'll be cheering her on one hundred percent of the way!

This no big deal -- only part of the show to keep it seamless for all of those 7-10 year old fans out there. This is just production stuff. Those of you who have your panties is a bunch over this, really need to look at the big picture, look at how hard she danced and worked the show and how hard she worked for that 1 minute to come out as herself, Miley, to finish the show. Give the girl a break! I loved the show and so did my kids!

We agree. It shouldn't make a difference if you're a true fan. It's not like the double did the whole song. Either way the concerts rocked and Miley is Miley with or without a few minute double. Her fans that like her for who she is will stick by her. This is ludricous to bash her over this when it is done all the time.
